چکیده

The paper focuses on the generation of residuals using nonlinear analytical redundancy relations for sensor and actuator faults detection and isolation of air supply system of fuel cell. The state equation model of the air supply system which is based on volumetric air compressor is reduced from 4 orders to 3 orders. Then, analytical residuals are generated by nonlinear analytical redundancy relations with numerical simulation results. Those relations are used to detect and to isolate sensor or actuator faults based on the elimination of the unknown variables of the system. The results show that all faults in specifications can be detected.

Simulation of a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell with External Steam Methane Reforming and Bypass

Fuel flexibility is a significant advantage of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) and can be attributed to their high operating temperature. The eligibility of a combined heat and power (CHP) system has been investigated as a new power generation methode, in this study. Natural gas fueled SOFC power systems via methane steam reforming (MSR) yield electrical conversion efficiencies exceeding 50% and...
